With an experienced, local captain at the helm, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a variety of specially-tailored trips. There’s some awesome game fishing opportunities to be had here, with Sailfish and Black Marlin on offer, as well as the opportunity to try out a unique “groundfishing” technique, which will see you handlining for Tuna species. The Andaman Sea is also home to Rainbow Runner and Golden Dorado, as well as plenty of local fish.

Your captain will have you exploring waters around Racha Noi Island and Racha Yai Island, which means you’ll need a boat capable of tackling various fishing grounds. His 55’ custom-built vessel is perfect for the job! Decked out with a full toilet, GPS, fishfinder, and life jackets in a variety of sizes, you’ll be treated to a safe and comfortable journey to the hot spots. There’s space for up to 12 anglers on board, with plenty of room to cast lines at the same time.

Your trip will depart from Chalong Pier, located on Chalong Bay. You’ll have the chance to troll to your heart’s content as you head further offshore, hooking anything from Barracuda, to huge King Mackerel,  mighty Black Marlin, and plenty more. Deep sea fishing, Big game fishing and sports fishing in Phuket is a popular activity enjoyed by experienced fishermen and first timers as well. The nearby fishing areas of the islands Racha Yai, Racha Noi and the Drop Off provide some excellent game fishing year round. We will at time venture to Green island or Koh Keow when the sail fish are know to be biting.

Fish species targets by trolling include Dorado, sailfish, mackerel, tuna, cobia and barracuda and marlin. You can see the seasonal catch below.

Fish species targets by bottom fishing with rod and reel or hand-line are grouper and snappers.

About Crew.

We have crewed by our local Thai residents. These families have been fishing for generations in this Thailand region. The crew members are friendly but often shy due to limited English skills. They can communicate well enough for fishing and boating but general conversation is difficult for them. They are certainly very friendly, competent and willing to assist when needed.

All charters and join-on trips include return hotel transfers ( from the main areas), gear, lunch, fruit, water, soft drinks, insurance, fishing equipment (full)

Main areas for transfers are Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach , Chalong. Extra transfer prices are a case by case and will be notified by the enquiry reply.
